Hm, we should probably pay some sort of tribute to THE JACKSON MAN. Who'd like to do the honors? I don't know too much about him, nor can I say that I was a big HUGE fan of his (I actually love The Jackson 5, and his earlier solo career).
@Pande: It probably would be a good idea to take off the contest section. XD
And thank you for the birthday wishes :B
I had a pretty good birthday - went to Disneyland for free.... since Disneyland seems to be doing that (dunno if you have to be a California resident or not...). -
Blech~
Sorry about my absence, Tofu. =(
Been doing a lot of studying and physical fitness to prepare myself for THE FUTURE.It's sad, because I haven't had much of a drive to make anything. :/
BUT I HAS LISTENED TO NEW MUSICS
Xavier Rudd's album "Dark Shades of Blue" is a must download/purchase. The title song kicks so much ass, I swear. The dude is Australian, and mixes traditional Australian styles with blues, grassroot, alternative, rock, and even a little progressive. It's pure love. <3
Also finally gave the band Riverside a listen. If you like Opeth, Porcupine Tree, and Pain of Salvation, you'll love 'em. They're a little more accessable than the three other bands I mentioned. It's straightforward prog rock, but it's HIGH quality. I love it. ;___;
I've also been listening to a lot of acoustic pop-rock of the surfer scene - like Jack Johnson, Tristan Prettyman, The Beautiful Girls. They're all pretty different in sound, but they deffinently give off a tasty Hawaiian/Southern Californian/Australian vibe.
Ahhhh, music is great..... *hugs my music*

Ah crap, you're right! Dx
I need to get on fixing that..... -
You first, Tofu. P=
HAHA JOKING.
Let's see.... interesting.....
I finally listened to the critically acclaimed Mastodon album that came out earlier this year. It scored high in several publications, and ranked towards the top of several different charts. I had to see what all the hype was about.
I'm pleased that I decided to give it listen. It's heavy and powerful, but not too taxing on the listener's nerves.VERY FUN.
Other than that.... nothin' been going on with me, really.
