from an awesome band I mentioned once before: The Eagles of Death Metal.
Now, their videos can be concidered ecchi, but they shouldn't break MT policy,
seeing how it's actually a lot more tame than some of the more ecchi scans on
MT. Anyway, I wanna post them for the reason that they are funny. These guys
really know how to not be serious. xD Especially Jesse Hughs <3
Also, a little side note: my brother and mother, if ya can believe it, say I
look similar to Jesse Hughes (vocals & guitar). My facial hair isn't as full

always wear those kind of sunglasses when in public, even inside stores. Also, I
dress like him. I need three things to look like him - handlebar mustache,

I live on the ground floor of my apartments (only two stories anyway), and I
live in California, in a region near a fault line, meaning we get a lot more
earthquakes than other states. YAY, FUN! =D

Perhaps they are trying to implement the new layout or something..... though I
would expect them to take Minitokyo offline when they do that. o:

That genre sounds kind of interesting, Pande. An American folk-ish sounding band
would have to be the Eagles of Death Metal. First of all, they are not death
metal. But their sound would be a mixture of hard rock, blues, jazz, bluegrass,
country and folk dance. Sounds odd, but they're a pretty humorous band. I mean,
they wrote an entire song about cherry soda.
As for a popular music from my country that I hate, it'd have to be modern rap
and pop hip-hop. Hip-hop by itself can be fun, but when it's mixed with the
whole pop culture, it becomes unbearable. As for why I dislike rap, I think I
already mentioned it.
Yeah, we all seem to be rockers.... well, I dunno of Scott can be considered a
rocker. He's a metal head.... or is there a different classification for
deathcore fans? I know that I've become a metal head...

@Anja: When people blast their music, is it... like rock, metal, etc.? If so,
I'd consider you lucky. All we Americans get from blasted stereos and car
stereos are rap music with the most trashy lyrics you've ever heard. I know I
stated that I was open to genres, but modern rap is just awful! I used to listen
to rap in the mid to late 90's, and they sung about normal and pleasant stuff.
Now it's just about murdering a rival gang, or having sex with a prostitute....
seriously.
What an odd coincident, I was just listening to Celldweller two days ago, and I
listened to Cake yesterday. That's pretty rad. o:

(not their newest album, sadly). Speaking of their newest album, I've heard that
it opens with a 14 minute song with a 132 orchestral accompaniment. Sounds
epic.
And I can see why your neighbors would be hating you right now. =P Rammstein is
industrial metal, after all, and as such, can be quite heavy.
I don't see why you couldn't present your song illustrations.

Lets start a discussion, folks. We're gonna start with something obvious: What
kinda of music do you listen to?
My answer: All kinds! I try as many genres as I can, carefully forming opinions
on each of them. If someone were to ask me for a list of genres I like, I'd tell
them it'd be easier to make a list of genres I dislike. I listen to so many
different types of music from so many different countries. My current interest
is Symphonic Power Metal from Eurpoean countries. For those of ya who do not
know what that is, just think of a Grand Symphony, mixed with a Power Metal
band. So there's several different horns, violins, and other instruments you'd
find in a symphony; as well as Heavy Metal style guitars, drums and Electric
Bass Guitars. It's pretty powerful stuff. I'm also finding myself drawn to
African music, such as Juju, Zula, Benga, and Fuji music... I really wish I
could find a place to download some songs from King Sunny Ade... but I have been
unlucky so far. T__T
